Usain Bolt and his friends have been spotted heading to Trinidad & Tobago for Carnival.
Yesterday a self made video by Bolt shows him and his friends – which included Reggae singer Christopher Martin and Jamaican soccer player Ricardo “Bibi” Gardner, partying on a private jet in route to T&T.
First posted by U.S. entertainment news program TMZ. Bolt’s selfie video begins with him announcing he is ‘squaded up for Trinidad movements’ and shows him with about 7 of his friends walk toward the private yet.
It then switches to them in party mode on the jet, fitted with strobe lights, loud music, and flowing drinks. The crew is seen singing and dancing to Soca star Machel Montano’s ‘Like Ah Boss’, doing shots, and toasting with color coordinated cups.
The minute and a half clip, ends with him showing him landing in T&T and exiting the plane, singing last carnival’s popular lyrics “When we touch down, d whole place shell down”.
Usain Bolt has been a regular visitor to T&T’s carnival for several years, and this time arrives shortly after receiving the Laureus Sportsman of the Year Award at a ceremony in Monaco. However, it is not know it he traveled directly from there to Trinidad.
Trinidad & Tobago’s carnival is next Monday & Tuesday Feb 27 & 28.
