Popular Jamaican Reggae Band Raging Fyah begins its 2017 U.S. tour today.
Raging Fyah will tour with U.S. Reggae band Tribal Seeds and Australian Natalli Rize of the band Blue King Brown, through the month of March. Thus far, 20 dates have been announced, with more expected to follow.
They will follow their U.S. tour with dates in Europe, as the opening act for UB40 and The Wailers.
The Jamaican Government is supporting their tour under the Artist Ambassador Tour Support Programme and Entertainment Minister Olivia Grange said through the program, Raging Fyah will help promote Brand Jamaica across the U.S.
For Raging Fyah, the tour is in support of their Grammy-nominated album “Everlasting”. Released in May of 2016, “Everlasting” is the band’s first album to receive Grammy recognition.
For Grammy’s Best Reggae Album category, Raging Fyah is up against Ziggy Marley, Rebelution, J Boog, Sly & Robbie, and SOJA. The 59th annual Grammys will air live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 12.
