Caribbean born artists Rihanna and Sean Paul have been nominated for 2017 Brit Awards.

Barbadian Rihanna ties U.K girl group Little Mix and music producer Skepta for the most Brit Awards nominations with the 3.

She is nominated for International Female Solo Artist of the Year, and Best British Single and British Artist Video both for her collaboration with Calvin Harris “This Is What You Came For”.

While Jamaican Sean Paul is nominated in both the British Single for his collaboration with Clean Bandit and Anne-Marie “Rockabye” and for British Artist Video with Little Mix for their collaboration “Hair”

The Brits – which are equivalent to the U.S. Grammy Awards, will be broadcast live on February 22. Fans can vote online in 2 categories, British artist and video of the year until tomorrow.

Both Rihanna and Sean Paul were also recently nominated for the iHeart Radio Music Awards.

Rihanna received 9 nominations that include Female Artist of the Year, R&B Artist of the Year, and R&B Song of the Year for “Needed Me”.

Sean Paul is nominated for the song “Cheap Thrills” his duet with Pop artists Sia, which is up for Best Collaboration and Best Lyrics.
