Reggae artists Beenie Man and Christopher Martin have dropped a love song for Valentine’s Day.

Their collaboration entitled ‘Me and You’ was released on Itunes this morning, and its video is currently in production.

Beenie Man says the message behind “Me and You” speaks to the strength of love, and targets couples who are going through rough patches to give them some hope and remind them that true love withstands adversity no matter the complexion.

Of the collaboration, he said he reached out to Chris Martin because had the perfect voice to complete the track.

‘Me and You’ was produced by Mario C of 357 Records and is featured among on Beenie Man’s current album “Unstoppable”.
Releaased late last year, “Unstoppable” is Beenie Man’s first full length album in more than a decade. It debuted at #5 on the Billboard Reggae album chart, giving him the 11th top 10 Billboard charting album of his career.

Along with Christopher Martin – who recently release his new song “Stop Violence Against Women”, “Unstoppable” also features collaborations with Akon, Bounty Killer, Tarrus Riley, Agent Sasco and Sizzla.
