Junior athletes across the Caribbean are preparing for the upcoming CARIFTA Games 2017.
Scheduled to take place next weekend April 15-17 at the Ergilio Hato Stadion in Willemstad Curacao, the traditional Easter Weekend championships will see more than 600 athletes and officials representing 26 Caribbean nations.
In its second year as the Official Broadcast Partner and Sponsor of the CARIFTA Games, regional communications company Flow, will provide fans across the world the ability to view all events by livestream via its FloTrack.com and for the first time, its new Flow Sports App.
Flow’s coverage will also feature commentary from veteran Caribbean journalists – including host of Flow Sports Premier Weekly, Nadine Liverpool, and UWI Director of Sports, Dalton Myers.
Now in its 46th year, the CARIFTA Games are an annual track and field competition founded by the Caribbean Free Trade Association, that has served as a spring board for many of the Caribbean’s elite track and field athletes.
