Barbados and The Bahamas will host test matches and the upcoming CONCACAF Beach Soccer World Cup qualifiers.

Beginning tomorrow, Barbados will host its International Beach Soccer Showcase, which will serves as a warmup to the CONCACAF Beach Soccer World Cup qualifiers.

Teams from Antigua & Barbuda, England, Guyana, Guadeloupe, and Trinidad & Tobago are to arrive in Barbados today for the International Beach Soccer Showcase – which begins tomorrow Feb 10.

From Barbados, the teams will visit separate training camps before heading to Bahamas, for the CONCACAF qualifiers – which begins February 20 with T&T facing Antigua & Barbuda.

16 teams from the Caribbean, Latin America, and the U.S., will compete in the CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championships -which run from February 20 – 26. Divided into 4 group rankings A-D, host Bahamas will be the top seed in Group A, against Jamaica, Belize and Guyana.

The qualifier champion and the runner-up will join Bahamas as the 3 CONCACAF countries represented in the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2017.
