The Regional Super50 day/night semi-finals have begun in the Caribbean.
Yesterday, the first semi-final, took place between Jamaica’s Scorpions and Trinidad & Tobago’s Red Force at Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua.
The Scorpions crushed defending champs Red Force by a historic 292 runs, amassing 434 for four off their 50 overs, setting a record for regional 50 overs cricket. In reply, the Red Force finished 142 off 26 overs.
The Scorpions will next face the winner of today’s semi-final between Barbados Pride and Leeward Islands Hurricanes
Barbados Pride will take on the on Leeward Islands Hurricanes in the second semi-final at today.
The winner of that match will face Jamaica Scorpions in the final round on Saturday.
